Have you ever heard of Pinterest?

YES! it's the mighty tool that puts millions of amazing ideas in front of your eyes.

Pinterest has always been put up to a good use of sharing everything that you're looking for and so here are three tips on how to use Pinterest to design your Wedding:

USE PINTEREST AS A SEARCH ENGINE

Pinterest is often thought of as a social media platform, but do you know that Pinterest is actually an extremely powerful search engine?

Looking for a destination wedding location? enter it in the search bar. On the hunt for the right color palette? search for that. DIY inspiration for your wedding? type that in!

So instead of getting lost in your whatever-feed when you open Pinterest in your browser, use the search bar to step up your game and you'll quickly see there's a whole new world out there after you start to use Pinterest to it's best use!

Anyways, hashtags are searchable here too!

USE PINTEREST AS A SOURCE FOR INSPIRATION

The best way to use Pinterest as an inspiration source for a wedding for us is to use it to collect ideas such as color palettes, mood-board, raw materials, flower types, dresses, DIY. Don't stick to "wedding" elements as you pin concepts. Try broadening your strategy by including environments, textiles, fashion, food, beverage, etc.

The most helpful Pinterest board a client could possibly show is the one full of images that allow Wedding planner / Event styler to get to know them and the overall way they want to fell on their wedding day.

That's what makes it different than showing only a board full of pins from other people's weddings and trying to employ all of them together will absolutely make it look like a hot mess (no no!)

STEP AWAY FROM YOUR PINTEREST ONCE YOUR DESIGN PLAN IS DONE

Once you have finalized a design plan, it's time to quit searching for other ideas because that search will likely lead to another idea (or more!) and you began to worry  and doubt that your wedding won't live up to the expectation of others... just remember, it's "yours" wedding not their's, so true to the values you cherish and know that whoever you are, wherever you are, know that the most authentic celebrations are always the most beautiful.
